Beginning Acrylics with Janet Mego at Kentuck

Join Janet Mego to learn the basics of acrylic painting. This workshop will provide group and individualized instruction on acrylic painting technique.

Students will need to supply their own supplies. This class is for students 18+.

Needed Supplies:

-3 or 4 good quality brushes of varied sizes

-A variety of acrylic paint tubes, especially red, blue, and yellow

-Acrylic-friendly canvas or paper

-Pencil and eraser

-2 water containers; paper towels.

If desired: Bring a good quality print of a photo you would like to work from, preferably a photo that is not one of another artist’s painting. This is not required. A still-life will also be provided as an option.

Minimum 4 attendees, maximum 12. If the class does not meet the minimum, participants will be refunded.
